Wildlife Sighting

We take the bus early but not too early for our first tour. Fatehpur Sikri is a deserted Mughal city built by Emperor Akbar in 1569. There’s photos of course but I started slacking as I didn’t have an appetite for breakfast and it’s hot out. I go through my snack supply on the tour. I felt better once in front of the AC.

the view
each balcony for each wife, top one is for the best
king’s chamber is up ahead
that platform on the left is the king’s bed. it’s high for safety reasons
That’s the main palace area. Next we walk next door to the mosque. I like this one more than Delhi.

Part one is done. We head back to the hotel for lunch and to rest up.

super nice hotel courtyard
Late afternoon the second part of our tour begins as we take a rickshaw ride through the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary. My camera’s zoom is not good enough to capture most of the birds we saw. But you get the idea. It was a nice break, very relaxing. Our driver was good at spotting and identifying the wildlife.

  Good night!
